Hi, folks!! I'm Ashley and I'm playing Rinne Saruwatari, the AU version of D-ne from Bookmark of Demise Project, a Vocaloid multimedia canon that's been defunct for about a decade now. Don't worry about that. She's been given the title The Replicating. Also don't worry about that. As mentioned on the AU workshop, she's a kind of girl who is always on the sidelines, and you have probably caught her watching you with a polite little smile. Don't...worry about that...?!?

Hello, everyone! I'm Redd!! You may remember me from many murdergames (including running Trustfell) or from various short-term games! I've generally been Around for awhile now and have experienced many murdergames!! I'm bringing you Dagr Thorne who is the Warrior of Light from Final Fantasy XIV! This means that they're the player character who experienced all The Horrors firsthand. They've got the title the All-Star in game here which is very fun and can be played in FFXIV like so!

Dagr is generally a pretty chill dude (gender neutral) who is looking forward to a quiet, chill break here away from their messy home life. Shame about all the murder! They're a sports fanatic who primarily plays basketball, but also helps out with the other sports. They recently joined up with the Fencing Club! Please talk sports with them!! They also don't do well with sitting still for very long, so this will go well, I'm sure. Also someone please be their roommate... I want cute roommate CR!!

hello! i'm Lilith and i'm playing Uika Misumi from BanG Dream! Ave Mujica, who's gone exclusively by the name Doloris here at Burnbriar. really just don't worry about it, it's fine. her title is The Enshrouded, which is also fine. she transferred here very suddenly about a year ago after apparently abandoning a successful music career in Japan, and spent all of spring semester and some of fall in a distant, depressive haze. she's repeatedly—some times publicly and loudly—had to insist against participating in the performing arts here at Burnbriar, but she still keeps up her guitar and vocal practice anyway. she's started slowly picking up some extracurriculars, mostly as part of the fencing club.

she tries to project a cool image but she is, frankly, an emotional wreck. her au workshop page is here for more information, with the caveat I settled on her having been here since last November or December instead of March.

doloris has a first impressions/permissions post here, and i strongly encourage you to at least give it a glance, because ave mujica deals with a lot of heavy topics and those content warnings mentioned on the page aren't fucking around. on the plus side, she isn't likely to actually discuss any of it for a while.

HELLO....! I'm Ran, and you may know me from other murdergames but I think there are some people I haven't played with yet? Exciting! Anyway I'm playing Alena from Dragon Quest 4, a game that I have to give you some really circuitous explanation for the best way to play it if you would want to... if only the west loved Dragon Quest as much as Japan. Anyway canonically she's a princess who wants to escape her overprotective father to fight in tournaments, so she's basically just the modern version of that: a rich heiress who wants to fight in martial arts tournaments instead of being a socialite or something. She's here as a compromise with her dad who doesn't want her to fight the Mafia or whatever. She is a jock who loves to spar. ...she is at least reasonably friendly outside of that though. Do not expect her to be aware of any crushes, though.

Hi everyone! My name is floral and I'm playing Lottie Matthews from Yellowjackets, a show about what if Lost happened to teenage girls. (Spoiler: it doesn't go well.) Lottie's title is The Evergreen, presumably because she really likes trees and no other reason.

I'm sticking pretty close to what I wrote on the AU workshop here. The quick TL;DR is that Lottie was stranded in the wilderness with the rest of Burnbriar's soccer team after an unfortunate bus crash. Lottie did not return until the following semester - AKA this semester - and she came back wrong! She's quieter and tends to hang around the periphery: either with Misty, out in the woods, or in the occult or spirituality clubs. Her permissions post is here.

howdy everyone, i'm liv!! you may remember me from such murdergames as WCB R6, nick vs. cn and robowest-- and now i'm here!! i'm absolutely ecstatic to be playing mariko shinobu from classic shoujo melodrama oniisama e! she's a horrible mess and deeply lonely and i'm excited for her to cause problems. it'll be negative cr city i'm sure. she's been given the title of the ingratiating in-game which truly delights me.

as i mentioned in her au workshop post, mariko has a real chip on her shoulder about her upbringing, having been betrayed by her father both by the circumstance of being born and then by his abandonment. she's doing her best to be everything but herself, but unfortunately is SUPER BAD AT IT. even though she might seem cool and collected, she's a stray breeze away from losing it and pulling a knife on someone. speaking of which she's considered to be the trope originator of anime girls using box cutters to attack people so!!! very cool and neat!!!

hello!! i'm anne, i'm completely new to murdergames, and i have brought anthy himemiya (revolutionary girl utena) to cause problems on purpose. her au history will be more organized in the next 24-48 hours, but i was too impatient to wait to do that before posting my ooc intro, so take the au workshop instead — i haven't changed much from there.

anthy is a small, very normal expert fencer who comes from the ohtori family, purveyors of the controversial, some might say cult-like ohtori method of academics. she was banished transferred to burnbriar partway through the semester because she had a complete breakdown needed a change of scenery. she can always, ALWAYS be found with her pet rat chu-chu, who is much nicer than she is.

as those of you who are canon familiar with know, anthy comes with a lot of content warnings in canon, and they're almost exactly the same in her au. please check out her opt-out post for a list of potentially triggering subjects and let me know if there's anything you'd like to avoid.

Hey everybody, it's Chai Tea in what's...wow, I've done a fair chunk of murder games, aha. For this one I'll be bringing in Kana Arima from TV! She's been graced with the title The Starlet which she has mixed feelings about

I'm keeping a lot of stuff from the Au workshop the same, having decided to make Kana a senior at Burnbriar. Thank you all for your suggestions for projects for her to have been in within the Discord. I may make up more based on what's funny, but right now I've got on her resume:
- Yukiko in the Netflix original movie A Gingerbread Man for Christmas
- Will in the TV show Guardians of the Veil Saga, an edgy live action reboot of W.I.T.C.H. that got cancelled after one season due to poor ratings.
- Charlie Tanaka in This Isn't Alright With Me, an acclaimed TV drama that...also got cancelled after one season.
- Princess Morbucks/Himeko in The CW's Powerpuff Girls. This show is actually about to start production on its third season! ...though Morbucks was killed off mid-Season 2, so Kana hasn't gotten any calls.

Hopefully Kana's life doesn't get cancelled! Haha...ha...

Hey everyone! I'm Yue and I'm bringing the titular Satsuki Minazuki from Liar Satsuki Can See Death. Except she can't really see death here, but ah, details, right? Well, her general au is here. The only real additions is that despite her, ah, impact on the academy she transferred in about halfway through.

But for other information, Satsuki is a bit of a troublemaker who randomly will show up and do things like pull you aside when you're running so you don't fall, make sure you know the levels of toxins in your fish, and so forth. She's obsessed with death and dying and now you know it too! She's called the Thanatocentrist for a reason. She doesn't have special eyes or anything but she sees death everywhere... eh, it's probably nothing. Other than that? She's a dweeb who wants friends so so badly but because she's a weirdo talking about death all the time she doesn't have much of a social life. She's like a really scary looking dog who once you approach is just happy you're paying attention to her. For example, that icon? Is her reaction when someone said they were her friend for the first time. She's a doofus and I'm excited to play her.

Hey all~! This is Phee, making my murdergame debut and return to game RP after... several years. I bring with me one Dorothy, of the famed Goddess Squad in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE! Except instead of becoming a fabulous battle cyborg with cool armor and a laser gun, this version of Dorothy is still just a fabulous heiress whose father is a local politician. In this AU, her wealthy former-heiress mother comes from a long line of Burnbriar women. Dorothy used to be super sweet and kind her first two years, but ever since her junior year she stopped being as involved in helping other students and that kind demeanor sometimes seems to be tinged with more superiority and condescension. What this actually means and if it's intentional on her part is anybody's guess! Her AU workshop post here mainly still applies, with the main updates being that her little underling clique definitely exists but is not technically part of Skullbriar - just a secret group of Skullbriar hopefuls. Also Kohaku is her maid now.

She now has a permissions post, which doubles as an opt-in if anyone wants to volunteer some juicy rumors / gossip that Dorothy's social network may have become aware of prior to the events of the game.

I'm doing this on my phone before work so I am a.) gonna be brief and not include pictures and b.) definitely be late to the first log, but this is Leah, who you may or may not know from various murdergames (every single unknown seas and we could be, vault 113, castle w, airlocked? I think that's it??) or just from being around. Today I'm bringing back my OG murdergame pick for (Jesus Christ) her third game. Thomasin halls from from the bleakly-lit, 1630s-set horror movie The Witch, a cautionary tale about moving to New Hampshire. Her AU backstory is pretty much the same as it was on the workshop, and not radically different from canon either, for that matter... only instead of actual Puritans during the great migration her parents are neotrad Calvinists attempting to follow in the footsteps of their forefathers and keep their children as ignorant of this sinful world as possible! Her title is, unsurprisingly, The Sheltered. She can read, she's not wearing the dumb little coif, and she doesn't speak quite as Ye Olde, but other than that? Same devout, sad, angry girl as she was the last few times!

While I highly recommend The Witch, it's also a horror movie with a bunch of upsetting content, and transposing it to modern times hasn't changed that much! I've already got a permissions post on her journal, but it's for the OU iteration--I'll get a brief and more accurate rundown for the AU one up soon, but if you want to opt out in the meantime you can absolutely use that one! Howdy hey! I'm Lily (she/her), bringing Extremely Normal Woman Don't Worry About It Sayo Yasuda, a.k.a. The Unswerving (cue the canned laughter) to have a lovely time over winter break. To most, she's a shy, straight-A student who's only notable in her contribution to the school's newspaper as the Miss Mystery columnist. To others, she's someone who seems entirely different, as the bassist to a secret midnight band and a fencing ace.

As for her background... who knows! She's from a tiny little town in Japan, on the coast. What else matters? Absolutely nothing! And anyone who tries to pry gets deflected with all the grace of a jiujitsu master.

Speaking for myself, I'm into a lot of the current Shonen Jump roster, Soulslikes in general, and obviously Umineko: When They Cry. That includes the recent hit anime Ave Mujica -The Die is Cast- (thanks Lilith), since they're basically the same thing.

I'm in the MST time zone, but there's another important factor to my schedule: I'm plural, which, for those of you who aren't familiar with the term, means I'm sharing my body with someone else. Don't worry, I'm not a serial killer, but this does mean that I'll be almost entirely absent on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays since those are Cobalt's days and they get stir-crazy if I take up too much allotted time on our schedule. Hawke's title is The Obstreperous! Like I mentioned on the AU Workshop, she's a bit of a disaster jock-punk who does fencing, soccer and archery.
